We Made It!

We almost didn’t make it… a tree crashed through our house, there were dental emergencies, the Spirit Airlines mechanics didn’t show up on time.  But it all worked out in the end.  (I aged 5 years in the process, but this is the plastic surgery capital of the world so it’s okay).

How we roll

Spirit happily charged us for our 8 suitcases.  The mechanics showed up just in time, leaving us roughly 30 seconds to make our connecting flight.  We had to sacrifice the stroller that had been checked at the gate but we made the flight and arrived in Medellin a few hours later.

It is so beautiful here.  The temperature is perfect; imagine life with no heating or cooling required.  If we weren’t worried about the children and cats falling twelve stories, we’d leave all the windows open all the time.
